This story is crazy good! I really enjoy how Bliss and Sky each have a rather unique skill set. I know there are a lot of hackers out there in cyber world but the level of skill these two have set them apart from the ordinary small town hacker.

I also enjoy their history, as intense as it is, but their relationship is precariously based on secrets and half truths. They need to come a long way to mend what is broken between them.

The general public doesn’t realize how their every day habits can be tracked simply by their use of electronic means from their banking, cell phones, driving their car, credit cards, home security systems, and even their home thermostat. Sophisticated hackers that are determined to cause pandemonium and gain power have us all in the palm of their hands, or should I say, right at their fingertips!

I thoroughly enjoyed this storyline which brings two brilliant people back into each other’s world with national security at risk and in the hands of HOT. I also loved Bliss and Sky’s obvious chemistry that neither one can deny.

This is another excellent HOT love story! Great job! I loved it!

Lynn Raye Harris delivers another superb, high octane read in HOT Secrets, book 13 of her Hostile Operations team.

Sky "Hacker" Kelley answers a knock on his front door late one night and discovers his ex-wife Bliss Bennett standing there, desperately in need of his help. Like him, she is a hacker but unlike him she works independently and is somewhat of a con artist. Her latest job has someone trying to kill her. Bliss had nearly cost Sky his military career 4 yrs early & although he knows he should turn her away, he's too much of a good guy, something Bliss counted on.

As they work together  under the auspices of HOT HQ & the heroic Col John Mendez, Sky & Bliss have to confront their unresolved issues and their still-hot love for each other. And they are still very attracted to each other.

A quick, intense story, HOT Secrets is worth the read. And we always appreciate those cameos from HOT members like Saint & Cowboy & Col Mendez himself. We get a wee bit of Lt Col Alex "Ghost" Bishop, too.

When I’m looking for a good military romance, there are only a few authors who fit the bill. After writing 12 books in the Hostile Operations Team series, I can safely say this author’s prowess in writing intrigue and sexy heat just keeps burning HAWT! Hot Secrets, is Sky “Hacker” Kelley and Bliss Bennett’s turn at a second chance.

From the very start Bliss’ character made me have a little bit of hero worship for her 😁 She was smart, sassy and capable of kicking rear in ever sense of the word. When danger visits her door, Bliss goes to the one person she trusts, even though he hates her. Man I was ready for the fireworks and Sky Kelley did not disappoint. With a mind and body to die for, Sky Kelley hates Bliss. Yet, that’s a damn lie. Bliss has Sky so twisted that he digs deep in order to help her. Trust me, this was the best decision.

The back and forth of whether their hearts were irreparable, the betrayal Bliss suffers at the hands of someone she thought she knew, and the “ripped from the headlines” plot, made Hot Secrets an absolute page turner. At the end of the book, I got a sneak peek into whose story is next and I can’t wait!
Sometimes when the past comes knocking, it knocks you square on your you-know-what.

That’s certainly the case when Bliss finds herself on Sky’s doorstep ... and boom-boom-pow, when his beautiful ex begs for him to keep her safe, all of his anger, hurt and mistrust from the past four years barrels against the wall he’d constructed around his heart.

Bliss knows that Sky has every reason to not trust her but where do you turn when the world has turned on you and someone is literally trying to kill you?

But from the moment her HOT protector agrees to help, I could feel that familiar sizzle starting to pop - a rush that is uniquely Lynn Rays Harris’ own brand of literary foreplay.

The “dance” between Sky wanting to do what is right and wanting to hold onto his anger for Bliss’ betrayal was electric.

Lynn’s carefully crafted characters are strategically developed (with military bearing that is both practical and believable) and I love that those personalities are intricately woven through other HOT family stories. It is that character “building” that I love the most about this series. I’ve been curious since Briar Rose was first briefly mentioned and seeing it all come full circle in a way that literally made my heart thud and swell, I couldn’t put this one down, as I begged for these two struggling souls to fight for their happily ever after.

More than anything, Lynn “gets” that romance and sex and relationships are not always rainbows and sunshine. In fact, we all know that any relationship has highs and lows and downright Bliss and Sky and every other character in this series is human ... filled with relatable flaws and pride and struggle and humor that make them not only relatable, but lovable.

You never forget your first love and you will have to see for yourself if Bliss can convince Sky that what they had was special enough to take a second chance on.
